Visit #1
The first step will be a Consultation with the Doctor followed by a thorough Chiropractic Examination including Spinal, Orthopedic, and Neurologic test using a computerized program to determine how your body is functioning. These tests enable us to determine the cause of your problem and how chiropractic care can help. It also gives us a picture of your overall health.
The latest in computer technology is utilized to locate problems with your spine and their adverse effects on your nervous system and its functions. These diagnostic tests include a Surface Electromyelogram (sEMG), Digital Thermograph, and Heart Rate Variability (HRV). All are state-of-the-art and completely painless and non-invasive. These tests specifically measure Nervous System interference caused by Spinal Subluxations. In this way we know how your body is functioning in addition to how it feels. These also provide objective follow-up assessment of your care so we will be able to monitor your progress.
If X-rays are needed, you will be referred out to an imaging center. This initial visit usually takes 45 minutes to and hour so please leave adequate time.

Visit #2 : Your report of finding is at your earliest convenience, and preferably will be within a day or two of your initial appointment. During this time the Doctor will sit down with you and explain all of the Examination Findings, the suggested Plan of Care, and pricing options. Your chiropractic care will begin on this day.

Body Elements Chiropractic Clinic is an in-network preferred provider, and accepts most insurance programs, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Providence, Aetna, Cigna, Health Net, and automobile. Chiropractic care is typically covered under “alternative benefits” in health care plans. We are happy to contact your insurance provider on your behalf to understand your coverage, and work with you and your provider to get you the treatment you need. Please be courteous of our time as we are with yours. A 24 hour cancellation notice is appreciated and in the case of repeated no-show incidents, we reserve the right to charge a fee of $50 for the missed appointment. Thank you!
